Hey I am here and safe and with Jamie staying at his GF house he is at work and is back in an hour when we are gonna go say hey to his aprents and then go out to the uni or go somewhere where there are bars and pre drinks and general fun. Excited!

Got an upgrade for part 2 of flight .. AMAZING - lady in HK who checked me in was called Poo Jim . They served me frozen fruit - not on purpose but I was glad to have it... umm I watched one and half movies on the plane for the whole 23 hours and then slept or pretended to sleep for the rest of it.

Oh yes - some advice, not wearing contact lenses in Hong Kong airport is an error - almost lost flight as could not find gate - all was fine.. I asked a lot of people (who were shorter than me!!!!!!). Airport is nice... cheap stuff... infact... very cheap - if you go via take a lot of extra cash to purchase werid and wonderful items.. (handbags = very cheap)

No exciting travel stories, oh wait no I lie - Oz is a militant place to get in to and having to try and explain after 23 hours what you are doing here is difficult - specially when all you know is you are staying with a friend, whos address you do not know in fact I knew no addresses - I also have no idea what I am up to this week... but.. it was fine - despite the threat of border control filming this conversation (very excited as I do love that show maybe I should have pretended to be trying to work here just to get some air time..!?) I managed to get through and get bag (which before than I had not picked up and my god it is heavy)... anyway...Oh and on top of that having a driving ban also holds you up for another 10 or so mins. Luckily Jamie waited.

I do have phone so you can txt - it costs the same for you coz its a txt..... Not for me.

Kisses from Oz (where it is raining.. bloody typical) but at all least warm. Off out with Jamie going to experience Oz uni life before meeting Lawrence and having some backpacker (eugh the time of sleeping in a room with 8 other people begins ... its the bath rooms that scare me) fun AFL (?!) this weekend so should be good fun in St Kilda - and then I will go to see Annie (family friend) for some 'home time' before I go to Perth.
