So I suppose its been a while.

Gemma and I drove from Melb to Byron In feb - but oh my - what a mess. Last 4 days in byron were AMAZING, but before that so much happened. Crashed car - red backs, rain, middle of no where. Took 9 days and then we drove back via Canberra. We drove first to wilsons prom, beautiful - and good weather. had a bbq etc .. then drove on and went all the way to batemans bay via some weird hickville places I do not remember the names of. Smashed it to sydney after a minr collision with a palm tree which resulted in needing a new back windscreen and a detour to a school swim competetion, do not ask.

Then in sydney stayed with family friends of mas for 2 nights and did the boat to manly etc, kings x , china town and carried on up the coast for a brief beach visit in coffs and a night visiting my friend dan in Port Macquarie, really like it there, lots of bats... was cool. Slept in the car alot. Hit Byron and spent a lovely 4 days in the sun with Sam and Greg who attempted to teach up to surf. Ate jelly sandiwhc and saw dolphne, drank goon, went to nimbin for some space cakes and then drove in 2 days back to melb with a stop in canberra to see my friend ben and sleep after the 14hr drive that day.

back to melb the boys found it hysterical, went to a festival called good vibes and had the best day in the sun (n rain!) ... worked for a bit. Partied a bit and chilled at the ritz for backpackers.... was awsome.

Now I am in Noosa, having flown up to gold coast last week going to surfers - went to an art gallery - amazing photographic exhibition, and then bbq's and hungout playing pool with the guys in the hostel. 2nd night went over and hung out with the chef bloke and smoked a bit and drank a bit with the most incredible view over the whole beach front and the whole of surfers from his 19th floor apartment eating fresh lobster pad thai... yum.

Next day up early and on to Brisbane, met up with jackie and drank a bit of beer int he valley before going to central, bumped into george from melb - who is a mte of people i know there and he joined us in an irish bar where the buy next to us got arrested for showing his arse to a police woman. Ha.. idiot.

Jackie left and george and I just chilled and ate a steak and went and got wine... pretty relaxd night. Next day was st pads and I caught a train to indroopilly to meet jackie - pig and whistle for a few cheeky ciders, back to jackies where we covered ourselves in irish transfere stickers! (still not coming off) and went to drink goon with george at base, went to regatta- lots of shots... then the next day off to Moreton Island.

Up at stupid oclock, felt awful. 1.5 hr ferry over and it was amzing, a sand island (like fraser but smaller) went sand boarding and drove about in a 4x4 - went to the sea, a tes tree lake, light house, blue lagoon - picnic lunch - good group of people, was pretty good. good burnt. Gay.

Next day went to austalia zoo (steve irwin) it was pretty cool. Went on the bus thing and looked about, then saw the show - birds flying everywhere and then the crocs - jumping out the water to catch food, was pretty good actually. Then fed elephants and the red kangeroo - there was a baby and it was SO cute! affed about a bit and then went to a koala talk, which was interesting coz apparently in 3 yrs thre will be none in the wild coz there is a HIV type thing going round them :( sad times. So I went and hung out with one... they are so cute. but yeh.Also saw a red panda, and some weird native birds and a lot of croc that steve irwin had gone to catch and save .. they were huge.. ridiculous. Aligators are tiny in comparison., Also held an aligator.. a baby .. but still! .... so then left to go to noosa. and Bus was bloody late and had to call new backpackers to tell them, Then arrived in noosa and went down to stay in dolphine beach resort _ (where I am again on tues night) which is on sunshine beach - went and got the best calamari for dinner ever - 8 pieced for 4 dollars, pretty good!

Met some german guy called sebastian, and he and i walked to the bottle shop and shared smome wine, i was pretty tired so when we got back we just sat outside with some danish people and a swedish girl and a norweigan and just hung out chatting and drinking , i hit the hay at 10 coz i was up at 8 again today. They are really lovely actually and it was nice to not be surrounded by english people! Noosa is a small town, but really pretty surrounded by wet lands and when i went to bed i heard this scream and another girl in out house/ hut thing ran out the bathroom and she had felt something in her hair and in the mirrow saw it was a spider, and not a small one. A fat one with long legs and Oh my god.. I made this girl put a cup over it... and it was still there this morning, but i didnt sleep too well..

Now i am waiting to go to gagaju Bush camp, Ari has been there and said its pretty cool, then tomo I am off on a kayak tour for 2 days and one night, back in Noosa on tues at 1230 and back into dolphins for one night before I head to rainbow beach to do fraser island on thursday till saturday... hope the weather hols out, no sign of the cyclone yet - think it more up north, a bit breezy here , but thats ok!
