End of last night. 4th July.
Oti, Evi and myself went into town to have a look at the Musuem of Terror, and the Holocaust Museum. Both were very good, but also very sad as they show just how cruel and inhuman people can be.
We then travelled to the top of the Pest Hill and had a look at the Buda Castle. Took the cable cart back down the hill and hit the main shopping centre. Managed to find a pair of cheap shoes.
Headed back to the hotel, just in time to grab the curtesy bus and catch up with all the oldies for the free river cruise. Was nice.
Just as we got off the sun was going down and Budapest was lite up in lights. Gobi decided that he wanted to walk the Buda Castle under lights. Was nice but I'm tired and hungry, I have a sore foot and just want to go to bed. Eventually we make it to a late night pizziara as they are called. It's well after midnight and we are just leaving to head back to the hotel. So much for an early night and a good sleep I was hoping for. Oh well, I can say that I saw everything I wanted to. Not one thing I missed out on. Hoping to get half an hour in the really hot pool in the morning before check out. See how I sleep.
