Our house sat on the crest of the hill looking down over the Manuel Antonio coastline so walking downhill to the beach didn't seem too bad of an idea. We had been in a bit of a dilemma about where to go next, we knew we were heading back towards the sea but should we go to the Caribbean coast or the Pacific coast. Tortuguero on the Caribbean is famous for turtles nesting on the beaches but it was slightly late for the leatherbacks and a bit early for the greens.
