After our very quiet day yesterday we were keen to be up early and get ready for our day at the vineyards. We skipped breakfast and walked to the other side of town, to the bus stop on Calle Rioja. In stark contrast to yesterday, the city was buzzing with people and a lot more of the shops were open. It didn't take long for the 173 bus to come and take us to Maipu. It was holiday Monday in Mendoza and we were still a bit unsure about what we would do today. We really needed to do some more research on how to best explore the Malbec wine area. We had to be up early to get to the bus station for our 7:30am departure to Mendoza. It was Sunday and the metro didn't start until 8am so we asked guy from the concierge desk to call us a taxi.
