We've only been here not even a week and we're loving it. Yesterday we drove to Franz Josef where we got a helicopter ride through the glaciers which was amazing and David's 1st time in a helicopter. The glaciers were amazing and we got our on Fox glacier to take photos. We were on the glacier for about 10 minutes. The snow was so deep and told not to go far because of 200m crevaces - agh!! The snow was wicked but you couldn't really see a lot because of the cloud but it didn't matter because it was just so white and was like looking into nothingness! The views were breath taking and then we went and jumped in the glacier hot pools which were 36 - 40 degrees but the outside was freezing. Perfect way to relax after an amazing day. We are in Wanaka now and gonna stay here for the night and move on down to Queenstown tomorrow to watch the bungee jumping xxx
