HI everyone,

Well we are on day 10 of our 2 week road trip and drove for about 3.5 hours today to get to Kaikoura. We went for a 2 hour walk along the beach and sea front and are about to get some fish and chips. Along the walk we came across a stream that led to the ocean. I took my shoes and socks off and walked across and David thought he could jump across - how wrong he was! I've just put a video of his attempt on here! I can't stop laughing even now and when I am blue, I'm just going to look at that video and it will cheer me up!!! The photo above is David sorting his wet shoe out!!!!!!

Tomorrow we have booked in for a whale watching trip. It lasts for about 3.5 hours and if we don't see any whales, they will give us 80% of our money back. I really hope the weather is good for it aswell. We've had some lovely weather today although it has been so windy today that it has been pushing our campervan across the road. I can't wait for the whale watching tomorrow. We're suppsed to be seeing sperm whales, killer whales and humback whales aswell as dolphins, seals and albatross. Anyway, will let you know how we get on
