Hello eveyone,

Well, we are finally on our road trip of the east coast and we are absalutely loving it. The 1st place we went to was from Sydney to Surf Camp. We stayed right on the beach. Our bus arrived at surf camp about 6pm and straight away we had an amazing bbq dinner with proper meat and veg and no junk food - yeh! We all sat around the camp fire all night listening to people's stories and just generally having a good time and getting very drunk. We went to the beach and learnt all about comets, constellations and could even see Jupiter! We could also see the Milky way which was truly beautiful. Apparently the further we get up the coast, the more you can see and the more beautiful it is. We went to bed at 3am

The nezt day we were woken at 6am - ouch! Needess to say we were still drunk and very much hungover at the same time when we got up ready for our free surfing lesson. We were treated again to an amzing full english and then headed down to the beach in our very snazzy wetsuits! Surfing was so much fun and made our hangovers go away. David managed to stand up on the board but I could only get to a croaching position. We left around 11am ready for our journey up to Byron Bay.

We haven't done much in the last couple of days but we're going to chill on the beach today and do a bit more body boarding. The town we're stayng in is a lovely coastal town but a very hippy town! We'll probably do a bit of sight seeing and maybe shopping later!
