Hi everyone,
hope all is well back home. We are in Vang Vieng in Laos having a great time. We went tubing for David's birthday. It is where you sit on a rubber ring and float down the river getting hammered. We met some really cool people along the way and are keeping in touch with them. We went on the zip wires and rope swings which flung you into the water but David hit them at such speed that he's covered in bruises!!

We had a day off drinking the next day with banging hangovers and also because the only 2 ATMs here had broken down. We managed to get some moeny out yesterday and went tubing again. It wasn't as good as David's birthday but we still had a good time. I was hammered and think I went home to bed about 7pm - what am I like??

Think we're just gonna find somewhere near the river to chill today. The water is so clear and nice and refreshing. It's only 8.15am here on sunday morning. I need to find somwhere that will do me a really good sunday roast!!

We arrived in Laos a week ago yesterday which took us 31 long hours from Siem Reap in Cambodia. Think we're gonna stay here for another couple of days and head to Bangkok either by night bus or train. We're trying to be in Bangkok for next weekend as there is a really good weekend market there. We've just booked our flight to Singapore on the 4th Feb ready for our flight out to Perth on the 6th Feb. Will keep you all posted of our travels. Missing you all lots but having a great time and getting nice and brown. Love you all
