So today we went to Hartleys Crocodile Farm between Cairns and Port Douglas. We went there expecting there to be a few ponds with a few croc's in but found much more than that. First of all we went to a crocodile feeding show with some true monsters being fed chunks of chicken and then went on a cruise with our truely crazy guide called Duncan. We cruised round before he started feeding them with more chicken. He brought them so close to the boat and if the window wasnt there then the last croc would of ended up on my lap, not ideal. We then had a hot dog for lunch then watched the snake show where the handler had a taipan ( google it if you dont know what it is). After this we went on a tour of the commercial crocodile farm where they are "harvested" for their meat and skins.

We then watched the crocodile attack show (see picture) which was really good. Looked like the guy was going to get eaten through most of it. At one point another crocodile neary jumped over the back fence (we didnt even know it was there) to get at him and his bucket of fish and chicken.

Tommorrow we will be getting straight and ready to move onto Mission Beach.
