After a nice few hours paddling around on the Mooloolaba water ways in a kayak yesterday we were both getting very excited about Australia Zoo which is where we went today, and we were not dissapointed! Our day starting watching "The Crocodile Hunter" on a coach on the way to the zoo which got us both in the mood for a day full of wildlife, CRIKEY! Our first stop when we got there was feeding some lovely Asian Elephants which we both loved (photo's on the way) before heading over to the enourmous "Crocoseum" to watch birds, snakes, more elephants and croc's doing all sorts of things. We then strolled round for a few hours before lunch and then had our picture taken with a huge eagle. Then we went and watched the Tiger show which was really really good, then fed the elephants again. Before we knew it we were on the coach home feeling tired. The legacy Steve Irwin left is just incredible and the work the Irwin family have done is fantastic.
We're going paddle boarding tommorrow which should be wicked (and its free!) so we'll most likely update after that.
