So hello from Canada - or Bonjour from French Canada anyhow...

We finally made it, after 2 years of organising, a year of saving - we are in Canada! And what can I say - yes its FREEZING! - 12 to be exact when we got in, in the afternoon...
Anyhow putting all that aside - Montreal is a buzzelling city, much bigger than I thought.
There are Clubs and Bars everywhere on the main street, mixed in with some strip joints and restaurants - of which we visited the later! Our first stop was the 3 Amigos restaurant - really good cheap Fajitas. We have also started to cook in the hostels and Megan and i had a great Chicken Cheese thing one night - so cheapy does it eh!
Our hostel is very central and pretty much great with friendly people, and we have not had too many problems with the lack of French we three all speak. Yes I said it - we have refound our friend DANNY... The evil Consuala did not steel him away from us -

Anyhow enough of that... We have climbed Mont Royal, visited Notre Dame, walked the Plateau and the Latin Quater (which was our favourite) and generally we have done a lot of walking. Nightlife was pretty good, with cheap drinks in the Plateau (locals area) and the induction of yet another Yank into our midst.

So its off to Quebec City tomorrow for some more French Lessons - Bon Voyage xxx
