Hi all.
So we drove from Quebec to Mont Tremblant of which we heard was the best Ski resort East of the rockies. Unfortunately the weather was against us, and it pissed with rain the whole way. Also set us back a day on the slopes because the rain played havoc with the snow.
Anyhow the Town of Mont Tremblant was very pretty, nestled in the Laurentines north of Montreal, however the Mont Tremblant villege where we stayed was gorgeous. The village was coated in snow, with frozen lakes all around. The Hostel was also very pleasant, an old barn building, very homely and warm.
So our slope time came and although expensive, it was very good. Danny and Megan both mastered the summit of the mountain. Megan is getting very good on her Ski's and starting to enjoy the slopes a lot more, which is great. The Snow also came down in the night so we had around 2 inches of powder - so much fun!
The Monutain although very commercialised was good fun, with a huge double sided routes (north and south). It also had a gondala to the summit which was cool, good for dan so he didnt have to ride his board up! In all it was a really good day - I even got to do some jumps and powder riding... I'd recommend the resort to anyone - Loved it!
Off to Ottawa tomorrow - speak soon
Dave, Megan and Danny.
p.s. Watch the newly uploaded video of Megan dancing - Seriously Funny...
