6th December: Arrived in San sebastian. Been raining fairly constantly since we left Toulouse. Couldn't even see the Pyrenees on the way down. Crossing into Spain was a fairly innocuous occasion - a Toll gate no less!! In fact 3 toll gates within 10km! Doesn't look too promising on the way in - concrete hi rises dominate the landscape. Breakfast at Maccas again - yes I know. Sad isn't it!! But I swear it's the only place to get a good cup of coffee!! Headed off to Toulouse. Today we said goodbye to Saint-Remy de Provence to head further down the coast to Argeles sur Mer , just north of the Spanish border. We had an early start to the day so we could stop in at Montpellier for a bit of a look and a mid morning coffee. No such luck. The city area was clogged with road works which made the traffic chaotic (even more chaotic than normal). After finally regaining possession of the missing bag, we headed off to Saint-Remy de Provence, in the region of Provence. The weather isn't looking too good, and before long we run into our first bit of rain. Freeway travel doesn't make for a very interesting drive, but it does get you to where you want to go to in a hurry. After an hour or so we leave the freeway for the slower, but more interesting, regional roads through Provence to the village we are stay...

Luggage update: Found it!! After navigating thru the Nice airport environs we finally came face to face with out missing luggage (stop kissing the nice lady Julie). It's looking a little worse for wear, but it appears to be intact with everything in it. It will be good to wear something different from now on!! Now its on to Provence and our next port of call - Hostellerie le Chalet Fleuri in Saint-Remy De Provence.
