After staying the night in Letterkenny in the Republic of Ireland we set off (again in the rain) and within minutes were crossing into Northern Ireland. Writing this blog is challenging, I'm swaying back and forth and I have only had one drink. We are rocking and rolling on the high seas enroute to Ireland. The ferry is about the same size as the Picton Ferry and the crossing is feeling very similar. Apart from the fact that I woke up feeling like death warmed up we had a reasonably leisurely start to the day. 7.30 am for breakfast and an 8.30 am depart.
