Well this is my first blog...ever...... so lets see how we go!!!
What a wonderful place Kuala Lumpur is. We spent the first day on the hop on hop off bus. Was supposed to take 2.5 hours for the full circuit but it ramadhan festival so the city was crazy.,.. eventually they asked us to get off the bus and walk !!!!

But we got to see heaps. Its pretty hot here, far too hot for David, but a cold beer every now and then has seen us cope.

The city is in a state of incredible growth, there are cranes everywhere. Its pretty vibrant and exciting. The main city area reminds me a lot of New York, lots of lights and all the named brands, Gucci etc. But then just down the road are the typical Chinatown and Little India areas that reflect nothing of New York.

The plan for today... is wake up! Well im awake but i cant say the same for my travel buddy. Then i think we will breakfast and lounge by the pool for a while then head down to buy a wallet (for me) at Chinatown. Report back later :)
