Dangerous Dave's Daring Deeds
Yes yes, we are now in Sucre. The photos of the salt flats pretty much speak for themselves, and we've spent the last 6 hours uploading them, so I'm afraid, although perhaps it's a good thing, that I won't be writing much about it! Suffice to say that we were lucky with our group again, ending up with two Brazilians from Sao Paulo who we will be going to see in their home town in a few weeks time, and who gave us some great pointers about where to go in Brazil, and with two Italians who only spoke Italian or Spanish...so our Spanish improved dramatically over the three day tour, and we can now vaguely understand what's going on! Groovy. Tomorrow I think we'll be off to see the largest collection of dinosaur footprints in the world...although apparently it takes a little imagination to truly appreciate them - it's only a couple of dollars for a two hour guided tour, so can't complain. No puedo quejarse. See - getting better all the time. Many thanks to all those keeping a price watch on loaves of bread for me...if the next updates could be more linked to plums I would truly appreciate it. As for the dreads...I think they'll be a while coming. But as soon as they materialize, photos will be abundant, I assure you. Boon, your pseudonyms suck. Unless you're Franc le bien-bonk, in which case hats off to you. Righty ho, will check in again soon, until then keep an eye on those prices and be good - don't do anything I wouldn't... :S
Amore, David.
