Our first stop up the west coast was a place called cervantes. we spent a couple of days relaxing by the beach. it was good to chill out after the busy week we had last week. We also visited the Pinnacles which are natural limestone pillars.

Next we stayed at Dongara which is a small town with not a lot!! We went for a walk along the river to watch the sunset and saw our very first echindna (hedgehog/porcupine). We also went to the beach while we were here.

We then stayed at a place called geraldton. it's the main city of the mid-west, so back to civilisation for a bit. There wasnt a lot to do here and we happened to be here over Anzac day so everything was closed. The weather wasn't that great either so we couldn't go to the beach. THe highlight of our time here was going to the supermarket and stocking up on food for the rest of our trip!! Sums up Geraldton really!!
