Day 8and 9...

Got up nice and early yesterday (5AM!!!!!)�to watch the sun rise at the most easterly point of OZ, Cape byron.�Even though it was cloudy it was still amazingly beautiful, the colours reflecting off the clouds. Got some awesome pictures! we got back to the hostel about 7am...ish. I was gunna stay up but it started to rain so i gave into the call of bed! lol

When i finally got up again, we decided we better go get some food from the supermarket. As we can't go out for food all the time! Is too expensive! At 4pm we went on a bush tucker walk. This was ace, the guy who took us arround was nuts and he showed us everything from how to get water out of a plant to how to throw a spear. We also tried some interesting fruits and found natural soap, vix rub and mozzy repellent.�Enjoyed every minute of it, it was like watching a ray mears programme but actually being there!

In the evening we sat in the budda bar and watched the same guy Cockatoo Paul (cos of his hair, and his cockatoo) play his "one band man" music. Again amazing, he played various dijirdoos (how ever u spell it!!), a guitar, drums and sang as well as a bit of comedy mixed in. Then�the storm moved in�which sorter spoilt the next act which was a fire show, twas immense anyways thoughs!! Shame i didnt have my camera on me. Would have got some cool fire trails.

Today.. well we havent really done much today due to the weather this morning but nows the sun is shining!�I think we are going to the cow print lounge cinema later on tonight to watch lock stock and two smoking barrels. which is suppose to be like having a cinema in your lounge as the first 5 rows are sofas. Then me might hit town, to the two clubs (more than york!!).

Tommorrow we leave byron bay in search of brisbane. Should be meeting up with craig, and i think it will just be partying all weekend as jo is off the antibiotics.

Gunna dash to catch some sun!!
