Xi'an....

Arrived here in Xi'an this morning fresh from our train.. this was actaully a little bit more intresting than our last.. not that we got rocked or anything just as the sleepers we got where not the same as the comforatble almost posh 4 a cabin one we got for 2 days up here. these were 3 high open to the carriage hard sleepers which made things slightly busy in our carriage but arguebly more fun! lol

So what have we done today.. well we had no planned activites today so we had the choice of what we did with our spare time. Me and jo decided to vistit the 2 famous towers here, which are the bell tower and the drum tower. both were magnificently preserved and gave a good view of the centre of town. we even got treated to a music performance in the bell tower using.. u guessed it bells along with various other instruments. afterward we decided to hire a bike to cycle round the 13km of city walls which surround the centre! gave some awesome views.. though the bar walls win everytime!!!!!!
