Up early for a change and ready to roll heading for Tharmanminda on the Dowling track. This is a dirt metal track mild corregations main in reasonable condition but with some patches of very deep bull dust
There was a lot of storm clouds out to the south and I hope they stay there as water and the dust dont mix very well.
Arrived Tharmanginda in time for lunch then went out to see their main claim to fame.It was a hydro-generating plant which allowed The town to become the third in the world after London and Paris to have hydro powered streets lights.
It was powered by high pressure steam bore from deep underground.
It was a 140 klm drive out to Nocundra turn off with its historic pub but it was another 20 klm of the track and getting late and as I have been out there before I gaveit a miss and pressed on to Euromanga the home of the Dinnasour country arrived at 5.10pm.
It really, pisses me off,the van has 15amp inlet for power and all van parks are supposed to be equipped with 15amp outlets its the law,but I carry a 10amp lead as well just in case,so here we have 10 amp outlet and 15 amp inmlet,I can plug into the van and not the suppoly or plug into the supply and not the van.
I did have a lead with 10amp one end and 15amp the other but I uaed it at home and didnt put it back in the van aso no power tonight.
