Before leaving Longreach went to visit the Flyn Memorial Cenre,this is where Flyn set up and originally based the Flying doctor service

Then headed west a few klm to the banks of the river where Burke and Wills stopped of for a pinic a few years ago.

100mtr further on is a memorial wall for the Aboriginals dispossed by European settlement (not sure about the irony between the two)'

Then on to Mt Isa,towered over by the mine hulking in the background.

Sampled a Maccas for dinner then on westward.It has been another perfect day just a few wispy clouds off on the horizon.

Got to Camooweal just after 2.30 decided that it was enough as its about 500 klm from here to the Sturt highway wich is about right for tomorrow

Camooweal consists of a pub a couple of servo and half a dozen houses but the pub does have a van park out the back so thats it for me
