Hey folks! So after our beloved Andy split from us we headed to Townsville in pursuit of some work. A really cool wee town and somewhere we would like to have stayed for a little bit but had no luck of work. We stayed in a hostel for a few nights and celebrated Australia day watching the tennis final and the celtic game in an almost empty Irish pub, which thankfuly filled out as the night went on and was pretty good night. We then tried our first couchsurfing - basically folk let you crach on their couch or spare room for free for a few nights - the guy was nice to put us up but lived way far out of town and we got a bit of cabin fever. We stayed for a week in Townsville trying to get work but nothing came up and we applied for all over Australia and most jobs seemed to be in Sydney so back we went. All was looking up we both had interviews with recruitment agencies the day after we flew back in and were hopeful of getting work by the next week. Had a great wee weekend with Furhat, Jules and the boys going to the Pelican feeding and down for a wee beach day, plus good proper food too ;-) The next week came and went with no work put our way and so we were giving it until the end of the second week. In short we've not managed to get jobs and so have made the grown up decision of screwing Australia and we are booked on a flight to Bali in the morning so Indonesia and Asia here we come, WOOHOO!
