VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS .............................

Although we are totally skint the first couple of weeks have been awesome in america. We went to San Francisco, which was a pretty big detour and cost an arm and a leg in petrol for wee martha she eats the stuff up. It was cool just to see the big red bridge but it was hard to get parking in the city so only stayed for the day.

Then came the best city in the world Vegas. Oh it was so so so so so so much fun no wonder the place is so busy all year round its addictive. We stayed in same hotel derm and shaun had done and we kept the guys at the tables busy till about 7 in the morn with our millions of winnings from the rest of the night and then lost it all again haha! We went to all the big casinos and in the mgm there is one of the only 2 horse racing machines left in america. its a quarter to play and bet for your horse and i think we stayed there for about 4 hours the first night and it was packed the whole time. We've both said we're going back again one day cause its brilliant.

Then we were heading towards the grand canyon stopping along the way to sleep in mcdonalds car parks or a walmart. Grand canyon was really cool, dont know what i was expecting but it was bigger then what i though, so beautiful. We were camping in the forest and we had built a fire but the wood was a wee bit wet so the flames were going sometimes then not and a guy near us noticed and came over and gave us some help and some wood. He came over and within 2 seconds he showed us the gun in his trousers and i was thinking ye right in the forest best place just to kill two wee foreigners and get away with it but as you can tell cause im writing this he was nicer than that hehe! darren loved that night too cause we got a couple of bottles of mad dog and he went and got a pile of snow to make them perfect.

Utah came nest and we came off the highway up to some other road cause got told it would be nicer. It was nice little scenic drive and then we headed to colorado and the place is freezing we were not prepared at all. It is an absolutley stunning state and we just drove for a few days through the mountains and we got stuck one night for sleeping so pulled off the road onto a peice of land that was sold but had no one on it yet. we couldnt sleep because it was so cold and in the morning we were leaving about 6am and the windows were iced from the inside it was a total didaster and then it all went downhill fromthere with martha. Wee Martha was bought in LA so we weren't sure if she would last the altitude and she didn't her engine blew up yesterday and would cost $2000 to put in a new one so we've had to scrap her already only after 2 weeks. So she's dead now :-(

We hitch hiked from the wee town to denver and it all went pretty smoothly, we got our first pick up in 20 minutes then next one after 5 and the last one after 5 and that was the best one. A car with 1 girls and 2 boys heading to a party picked us up and we are still with them just now in another friends house. They are so cool and i think we are doing a mini road trip with them for about 4days before we head to my uncles in new jersey and see what our options are now wee martha is gone.
