after getting stuck at the border for 3 hours we finally arrived at the hostel but by that time shaun and derm were already having withdrawls so went out for a drink and left a wee note for us to find them.

didnt take long they found a local just around the corner haha! been having a great laugh catching up on eachohters travels and taking part in many a drinking game.

after all the booze and general lade back feel of the hostel we decided we couldnt be bothered going to book our bus in advance but would just wing it. didnt go quite as well as planned.

we got a 22hr bus to a place called calama in chile where we wanted to get a train to bolivia. on the bus found out train got cancelled in 2007 so when we got off we jumped on another wee bus to san pedro de atacama. wanted to just jump on another bus but place was completley deserted and closed down so we had to find a hostel.

in the end all has worked out well now, we booked a trip today to bolivia for the salt planes and some other suff on the way. we had to stay another night here so decided it would be a good idea to go sandboarding. it was brilliant we got in a taxi and told him to come back in 2n 1/2hrs but after and hour we had ran out of wax for the boards and nearly out of water. it was a good laugh none of us were great at it but obviously i was the best. so we walked back taking little sips of the water we had left and are all safe and sound in the hostel now for a good nights rest before tommorow.
