attempted a wee day trip on some bikes in uruguay, completley old school, no gears, rusty brakes and chains that kept falling off. after 2 disasterous attempts decided to give in and just walk around the town.

Villa Gesell (argentina again) - hadnt booked a hostel so off the bus, 5.45am on the hunt for a bed. couldnt find any hostels and all the hotels were fully booked or way exspensive. ended up walking 2hours with all our bags and the guitar before we got somewhere, wee lady reminded me of my wee mammy so i liked it :-) not much to report on there was cute place but beach way to windy to sit on and not much else to do.

Puerto Madryn - amazing little town here sad to be leaving tommorow. done a day trip to Peninsula Valdes to see some of the wildlife; sea lions, elephant seals and penguins. Sea lions kept fighting with eachother cause the men very protective of their women, elephant seals just great big lumps of lard who dont move more than a foot every half hour haha and the penguins are just cool to watch. they were in their wee holes hiding from the sun but when they were out they look so funny when they walk.

today we went skuba diving with the sea lion and aren´t long back. it was cool, we saw some dolphins on the way to the dive spot too. it was only the females who came up to play with us, they bit on your hands and arms and let you pat them it was excellent.
