Up early for us to have breakfast. Made it to breakfast in the conservatory as we'd set our alarms as we'd agreed to go off the boat with Clive and Patricia, two of our table companions, and were meeting them at 9.30. Free shuttle bus into town. After we'd got past the persistent taxi drivers we had a pleasant stroll. George bought me the compulsory handbag and a silver and coral necklace for our anniversary tomorrow.
The walk round Agadir was very pleasant. It was supposed to be 40 degrees and was 10 miles inland but in Agadir itself it was a very pleasant 27 degrees in the morning. Got back to the boat and had lunch in the restaurant. We had decided it was going to be hotter in the afternoon so didn't go ashore again. Just as well. It was 29 in the shade in the afternoon. Instead we played (tried to play) carpet bowls. It was difficult as the floor seemed to be on a slight slope and all the bowls were going off the carpet. Some people eventually discovered that the only way to stay on the carpet was to bowl backhand with the wrong bias!
Slightly choppy at dinner so put on my sea bands. Didn't do anything in the evening as we were tired with all the walking and our favourite band were not playing so had an early night.
