Blog Day 163 Sunday 17th October 2011

The sun has us up bright & early this morning, so we get ourselves onto the road back towards Tin Can Bay to go & hand feed the Dolphins. We arrive at about half 7 & already there is a huge queue of people waiting in line. Pretty soon there is a queue of people behind us as well. 8am arrives & passes… 8.30am arrives & passes. Trish gets talking to a lovely lady who is originally from Dublin, she has been to do this before & has never seen it so packed before. We swap tips as she currently lives in Noosa (where we are headed for) & she is off to Fraser Island (where we have just come from).

9am soon rolls around & it looks like the dolphins aren't going to show, maybe because of the storm yesterday who knows, Trish is a little disappointed but maybe we can find this opportunity somewhere else. We give up waiting & head of in search of something that is sure to cheer us up.

McDonalds Birthday McMuffin…OH YES!!

So we make our way to Noosa in search of this great discovery. We reach the destination only to find that we can't see the brekkie McMuffin on the menu. We order the bake house roll instead & though this is also very good it's just not the birthday McMuffin…How sad are we?!!

We continue our journey & once in Noosa town we pop into a tourist information centre where a lovely old chap points us in the direction of Noosa Nomads.

We have once again had a whole dorm (this time a 10 bed) blocked of for the entire use of us!!

After having been so busy over the last few weeks we feel in the need to relax for a few days & this looks like just the place where we can do this. As is always the same with a new place, once we are checked in we go for a wander to see what's about. Trish picks up some beauty bits & draws up a leaflet to start advertising her services, we were told how expensive Australia was & are so grateful for all the luck we've had with freebies so far but the spending pennies are running a little low, so anything will help.

Rations are also now in order so it's once again cheese & crisp sandwiches for tea followed by an early night.
