Blog Day 116 Tues 30th August 2011

So we are still alive. We survived the night & the bed is ant free. Today doesn't amount to much really. We head to the mall for a tasty cheap McDonalds lunch time meal deal, and then the afternoon is spent in the Starbucks writing the blog & sorting through photos etc. It was quite a nice afternoon of people watching too though, there are some random looking people here, yet they still have the cheek to stare at us as we walk around (really don't get it, all through Thailand it's been like we've either been famous, ultra good looking or walking around with 2 heads, whatever it is people can't seem to keep their eyes of us & it's now very annoying. Bring on Australia!). So after a good few hours here we decide to go to the cinema (yes again!). This time to see the Zookeeper, we weren't expecting this film to be all that good, but if you get to see it, it's extremely funny especially the monkey (The thumbs baby! It's all about the thumbs!). Really gave us the boost we needed to face going back to our ant infested room. On the way back to the hostel we go for a wander just to see what's about & there really is nothing. Most places seem to shut around 9ish too so for dinner we are doomed to a pot noodle & bag of m&ms once again. Night all.
