So I'm now in Victoria! I'm staying with my family for Xmas and New Year before I head off again.
For the last three days I've been on my fourth Groovy Grape tour, this time on the Great Ocean Road. The first day was spent mostly just driving from Adelaide into the Grampians National Park. We went to a couple of pretty lookouts and a waterfall and then headed straight to the hostel we we staying in for the night.
The next day was much more exciting as we got up fairly early to do a hike up to the Pinnacle, from which there were awesome views. It was quite a climb up a load of rocks but it was worth it to get to the top. After that we left the Grampians and headed for the Great Ocean Road. It wasn't the best weather and although it wasn't raining, it was cloudy and windy by the coast, so every time we got off the bus I had to wrap up in my hoodie! On the coast we went to the Bay of Islands, London Bridge and the Twelve Apostles before checking into our hostel for the night. A few people went back to the apostles for sunset but most of us didn't bother cos it was so cloudy. When they came back they said we hadn't missed much.
The next morning we went back along the coast a bit to Loch Ard Gorge and had some time on the beach there. Then we headed along the Great Ocean Road in the direction of Melbourne, stopping at a few beaches along the way including Apollo Bay and Bells Beach. We also stopped to do a bit of koala spotting and some shopping at Torquay. We got into Melbourne at about 7 where i was met by my family who I'm spending Christmas with.
