Today was our big departure from the Gold Coast. After the final packing and cleaning we decided at 3pm to hit the road. Target YAMBA, NSW 220kms/approx 3hrs. ETA 630pm (NSW time).

While on the road I googled and booked a powered site at the Yamba Waters Caravan Park which is pet friendly and a really nice park. Lilly made friends and scored dinner within 10 mins of arriving.

The car and van drove really well and already we have a list of things to throw and items to buy. Bella has travelled suprisingly well - in fact she is loving every moment, taking it all in and hasn't stressed, flapped, screamed or squarked at all!!!

We have decided to take a day to explore and relax in Yamba tomorrow before we decide where to head to next.
