This is the first chance since Wednesday to access the blog.

Thursday, we headed back from Monkey Mia and spent a night in Kalbarri. Stopping several times on the way back to see various sights. In Kalbarri, I had a great Australian tasting meal of Croc and Kangaroo overlooking the beach.

Yesterday, we headed further back to Perth, stopping at Cervantes for the night to see the strange rock formations know as the Pinnacles (in the picture). We went at sunset, as we were told this was the best time to see them. Took loads of great photos as the sun slowly set and as an added treat, when we were leaving the National Park, we saw three Kangaroos, a mother and two teenagers on the road. Even when I stopped, as they were in the middle of the road, they stayed and only slowly hopped off as we grabbed our cameras. A perfect end to a perfect day.

Today we travelled for a further two hours to Perth and dropped off the car. Tonight we are heading down to the bay to watch the fireworks, as it is Australian Day (27th Jan).
