The Australia Day fireworks were amazing last night. We decided to head to Kings Park, which over looks the bay and see the fireworks from there. After nearly giving Marie a cardiac walking up lots of steep steps to get there we got our spot for the evening and it was well worth it. Today we are heading to Adelaide, on an afternoon flight.

This is the first chance since Wednesday to access the blog. Thursday, we headed back from Monkey Mia and spent a night in Kalbarri. Stopping several times on the way back to see various sights. In Kalbarri, I had a great Australian tasting meal of Croc and Kangaroo overlooking the beach. Hello, after landing in Perth on Monday, we picked up our hire car (after a few hiccups) and grabbed the hotel documents we needed and headed north for a 4 hr difficult drive. The first night we stayed was in Geraldton. A reasonable standard motel. Yesterday we visited the local museum and picked up some supplies for a further 4 hr drive to Monkey Mia. A quieter day today as we are travelling to Oz in the evening. Had Dim Sum in a traditional restaurant and had a drink or two in the revolving restaurant. Then off to the Airport for our flight to Perth. (not sure when we will get to update the next entry)

Hello all, Today was an actioned packed day. We went on a tour of Kowloon and the New Territories in the morning, seeing the border with China and a traditional market as well as a temple. In the afternoon we met up with Flo and visited the Central area of Hong Kong Island, ending up going up the peak at night which was a great view. A tiring but enjoyable day We have yet to find a pc to upload pictures but we will continue to look
