Sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days! Been hard to find decent internet connection. Ko Samui is a weird place. A lot of effort on the beaches, which are pretty nice, but towns etc are pretty scummy. There's a weird smell that reminds me of paignton zoo. Finally over jet lag (I hope) and feel a bit more ready for adventure although adventure appears harder to find than I first imagined! I assumed I'd be fighting the tigers as soon as I got off the plane. More fool me. The last couple of days really have felt more like hard work than adventuring. First day on Ko Samui was absolutly roasting and me and Em got burnt. Combine that with the serious lack of sleep and we were feeling generally pretty uncomfortable. Had a better sleep last night and it has been over cast and raining today (which I'm quite thankful about!) and so it"s been a bit more bearable. Heading to Ko pha Ngan on thursday in search of adventure. Will keep you all posted on any developments true believers...
