Ok, so We moved on from our beach pad (named coconut calm beach bungalows!) and headed for Na Thon where we are catching a ferry to Ko Pha Ngan tomorrow. Em has had trouble walking due to her sun burnt feet but other than that no real news. What a hive of scum and villainy in na thon. Not really only kidding, it's not too bad.

Sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days! Been hard to find decent internet connection. Ko Samui is a weird place. A lot of effort on the beaches, which are pretty nice, but towns etc are pretty scummy. There's a weird smell that reminds me of paignton zoo. Finally over jet lag (I hope) and feel a bit more ready for adventure although adventure appears harder to find than I first imagined! I assumed I'd be fighting the tigers as soon as I got off the plane. ...

Not much to say today! Chilled out for long periods by the pool. It\'s a hard life. Went to the shop to get some water then spare of the moment decided to hop on the sky train to this really nice shopping centre called siam something... obviously not siam something I\'ve just forgotten... Anyway it was amazing and certainly helped raise our opinion of Bangkok. Well, it was referred to as the pride of Bangkok so I should jolly well hope so. We went in this aquariu...

Slept til 12:40! D'oh! Then got in to gear and went for a shop in this heeeeuuuge shopping centre that didn't really sell much cool stuff, Hmmff. Got a Taxi to go to another shopping place but it was closed because of that darned Thai new year. Why I oughta... Taxi driver suggested we go on a river/canal tour which sounded cool so we did. It was amazing to see the conditions some people live in. Some of their houses looked like they were proped out of the rive...

Ok so I've finally arrived in Bangkok. 11 hour flight from London Heathrow went really quickly. I still can't believe that I'm on the other side of the world! weird. Once We arrived Em and I managed to pick the longest lasting passport check queue around. took us an hour to get through. The first thing that shocked us was how hot it was outside; I'm talking boiling. We decided to save hassle and just get a taxi to our hotel. I think we got little ripped off...
