After arriving at the most uncomfortable hostel, I made my way to look for another one where I moved to immediately the next day. I only had about 5 days to spend in Ecuador and did very much like what I saw of it. Quito is a beautiful city surrounded by hills and the old city with its lovely old churches and houses was great to visit. I also went to the Otavalo Market, the biggest saturday market about 2h bus drive from quito. Even after 3month I still was not fed up with markets which quite amazed me and I absolutely enjoyed the whole day there. On that day, I also met up with the lovely danish couple I met and we had a nice time on the bus back to Quito. The next morning, I went to the Aequator line, part of the reason why I wanted to go to Eucador ;-) Very interesting hopping between southern and northern hemisphere!! And after a few nice dinners with the danish couple (who rescued my loneliness) and taking the cable car up to the mirador overlooking Quito, I had to leave for the airport because my travelling time came to an end...I did not want to leave and was even thinking of extending my time but at the end of the day, the desire to see my boyfriend again had taken over...

So, here I am! Back in London - god it was crazy coming back and I felt like crying but now it is good and I am sooo glad I did what I did the last 3month!! ;-))
