We thought our 11 hour flight would be enjoyable….we thought wrong! The ferry arrived at silly o´clock in the morning so we drove just outside of Wellington and snook into the campsite we stayed at on the way down. We left Queenstown and started the 8 hour drive up the West Coast to Franz Josef, a nice drive but a sleepy one!
