Spotted a koala in the trees during the drive from The  Barossa. Windy and rainy few days by the coast. Spent some time at the beach, park, and photographing the big lobster.  Jaime found a baby seal on the beach, which appeared to be injured but slipped off into the sea happily after we disturbed it.   

Drove through Port Agusta and past the turn we took  to head to the NT, so officially closed the loop on our lap around half of Aus. Checked into Discovery Park Tanunda, and got a cabin for a few nights for a bit of a Danni birthday treat. Had a TV for the kids,  and a table on the balcony. Great water park for the kids, and the best water slide for the trip. Went out for birthday lunch at Pindarie, which was a great setting amongst the Barossa hills. Then ho...

Quick overnight free camp at Kimba, adjacent to a sports ground and with a park for the kids.  Temperature started to climb a bit again, so we were chasing some tent shade. True to our normal site selection we managed to get direct sunlight on our cooking area, and bright morning sun to wake up with! 

Long day on the road crossing the WA/SA border and losing 2 hours of the day. Sun was suddenly not going down til 9pm, so the girls were up and playing a lot later than normal. Stayed at a camp site next to the beach but didn't spend much time there, as the wind was pretty constant.  Said goodbye to the girls friends Jocelyn and Eden, after catching up for the best part of the last month. 

Leisurely 369 kms drive from Pimba. Girls visited their first drop toilet and weren't impressed. Delivered an injured joey to the CP orphanage after being flagged down on the highway. Visited the dingo fence and dumped the girls on the other side. Think they'd get out again given enough time. Also discovered we are not the best opal fossickers after noodling in the public access sites of town. Girls highlight was to visit the kangaroo orphanage again for joey ...
