We're now in Sydney and staying with Sarah and Adam in Avalon by the beach! Raining at the moment, so we're planning trips to the Blue Mountains etc for when the sun comes out again!

We've just uploaded our photos from Melbourne- we really liked the city although it was quite expensive! We spent the first two nights in St Kilda beach which was a nice area with lots of little cafes and restaraunts. However, our hostel was horrible- the worst we've stayed in so far so we moved into the city centre as soon as we could!

On Monday we went on a tour of the Neighbours set which was reaally cool! The street is so much smaller than it looks on the TV, and the people that really live there were annoyed about us all standing on their driveways! We also met Declan - who has a really big head.

For the next couple of days we explored the city (aquarium, botanical gardens, 360 viewing tower) and also went on a whole day tour of the Great Ocean Road. We saw the twelve apostles and London Bridge and all sorts of little bays and rock formations. Unfortunately it was raining that day (even though there is supposedly a drought in Melbourne!) so all our pictures are a bit grey :(

We also met Annabel and Charlie (Philippa's friends from Oxford- SBS) and went to penguin watch back in St Kilda! Very cute little penguins climbing up rocks again!
