Hello everyone,

Just letting you know that we have arrived safely back in the UK and are looking forward to seeing you all. Its bloody cold here as i'm sure you are all aware so to heat things up i have put up some more pics.

Our last few days in Thailand were great. We did not think much of Phuket (not many do!) but were glad we booked a nice hotel so we could spend our last few days by the pool. We did have one last day tour booked to the Similan Islands which was fantastic. 2 hours in a taxi and nearly 2 on a speed boat and we were there at the first snorkle site. It took one look under the surface to realise how good this place was (way way better than Phi Phi - which we thought was good). Much more fish and much clearer sea. We even got lucky enough to swim with a sea turtle! (Philippa was very happy!) A stop on a beach for lunch (now we have said it before but this redifines the rules of a blue sea and white sand!) and to another snorkle site which was 10m deep and you could easily see the bottom (even if we couldn't get to it as our ears would explode - not for lack of trying though!) There were eels and clown fish at this spot! Another beach stop and a play on the swing and back to Phuket with the crazy thai taxi drivers!

A plane to Bangkok - a six hour wait - 12 hour flight and we are back and soon we will stop boring you with our story. 1 more set of pics from the underwater camera when i get them developed and i promise that will be the end!
