Hey,

As we have the time we thought we would leave you all a quick message to catch up. So we went to the Blue Mountains, did lots of hikes and got really hot. Went to the three sisters and got the famous photo every tourist gets, and then went down the 900 steps of the giants stairway that leads around the back of the sisters to the valley floor. After deciding we did not fancy 900 stairs upwards we walked 2 hours to the steepest railway in the world and took that back up to the top. (Philippa did not enjoy, but quote "that was better than the stairs at least!") We camped deep into the megalong valley (it was pretty long) and in the dusk and the morning after we were surrounded by kangaroos thumping their way around and mostly away from our camera!

Since then we have had a fairly easy time, you know its hard chilling out at the beach and very stressful having to check the tide times and the surf cam before we go! (http://www.coastalwatch.com/camera/cameras_large.aspx?cam=3250&state=NSW - this is our local beach live) What makes life even more difficult is deciding to spend our time here or at the house my sister is house sitting that sits on top of a hill overlooking the water with a swimming pool and waterfall! We have been into Sydney once more and went to the zoo mainly to see the koalas, but had to go see the other animals too. (love the lions, and they had a bear [graham we have a picture up for you])

We might not write again before Christmas and everything so if we don't speak to you, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
