Hello all,

We're currently half way through our journey down to Melbourne and are still having a brilliant time in our hippie camper :)

We've been exploring all the different beaches along the way, and watching all the surfers... we haven't had a go yet though as the water's freezing! The weathers been really nice, all the Australians think it's really cold but we've been sat on the beach everyday. It's starting to get colder as we're moving down south, but we're still in our flip flops.

We did a really nice trail on a horse through the rainforest in Wollongong, which is just south of Sydney. It was really good fun, Danny wasn't very keen on going but he really enjoyed it.

Our favourite place so far has been Canberra. It's really relaxed and spacious... although we got a parking ticket for not parallel parking in the direction of traffic which we were really annoyed about! Danny entered himself into a poker tournament at Canberra Casino, he really enjoyed it.

The countryside here is beautiful, it's really unspoilt and driving through the mountains is really pretty. We've seen a few dead roos along the way though :(

We've got the campervan until the 21st and we're dropping it in Melbourne so I've got quite a few hours of driving to do over the next few days. We're hoping to get settled in Melbourne shortly after that and start working.
