So we arrived at the camping grounds mid afternoon after procrastinating about trying to get everything together. Setting up the tent was EASY and suprisingly quick thanks to our practice run in the backyard 2 days earlier.

The Weather is beautiful, it's a warm night and i'm sitting outside the tent just wearing my board shorts. This is only a trial run on the whole camping thing, but so far so good, just a few things we've learnt like BRING BUG SPRAY and HEALTHY FOOD for Daniella.

Almost everyone here has caravans, there's perhaps 2 motorhomes and maybe 5 other tents. A caravan still doesn't make much sense to us, it definately has to be a motorhome or a campervan.

Discovered that sound travels alot in these places, and being quiet is no fun. We went for a walk today in search of a bottle shop, the people around here seem so relaxed and care free, all riding their pushbikes or skateboards enjoying the sunshine.

Anyway, it's 1:30am, the time on this site seems a little dodgy, better get back to sleep because i can't imagine being able to sleep all that long once the sun comes up and it gets super hot. No doubt we'll wake up sweaty and head straight for the beach.
