We have been in Hong kong for 5 days it is extreamly hot and humid but not very sunny unfortunatly. Other than that hong Kong is a great place to be and we really are enjoying it. We have walked around hong kong looking at the shops although it is just window shopping as it is very expensive and the ruck sacks are already full!! There are a lot of parks which is what we like the best they are very pretty and calm a contrast to the city which is incredible busy and very noisy.
We are staying in Kowloon but we are well away from the torists, which has its advantages the food is really cheep we have eaten out for about 8 pounds and it was enough to even fill Dan! But we do get a lot of funny looks from the locals feel a bit like animals in the zoo at times particulaly when we are trying to eat with chop sticks!
Temple street market in Kowloon has some fantastic bargins particularly if you like handbags! I wish i had bought a bigger rucksack! It is also fun trying to haggle with the market stall holders although some are more willing than others to lower the price.
We are in Casueway Bay today in the public Libary at the moment (Mum you would love it!) it is 10 storys high and very swish. After we have finshihed here were going to happy vally race track to buy tickets for the Wednesday night meet. Then were going to go up to the peek late after noon were hoping to get some nice pictuers although it hasn't been very clear so far.
We are not able to put pictures on here at the moment but hopefully we can get some on when we are in Australia next week.
