Today we went to Sea World. It was an adventure just getting there - we had to use 3 of San Diego's finest public buses!! The park was quiet which was amazing as it meant there were no queues for anything. We managed to get on every ride with ease and caught the shamu and dolphin shows. Long day today - left the hotel at 8.20am, got back at 8.20pm! After French toast and pancakes at Clayton's we boarded the San Diego trolley. First stop Balboa Park. Had a guided tram tour, walked up the Prado, saw the Spreckles Organ Pavilion, found the House of England at the International Cottages and walked the Palm Canyon Reboarded the trolley to stop two: Old Town. Spent the day at the beach...SO hot. Almost bought a body board, but decided to save the $50 they were charging!

Going a bit wild today and not following the itinerary!! Just had breakfast at Cafe 1134 in Coronado (I had a bagel with cream cheese, Dan had the California Omlette), now going to wander around and spend the day at the beach!

Spent the day wandering around the Gaslamp District today. Went on a guided walk with the Historical Society (Dan loved it!) and bought $5 t shirts in the sale in Quicksilver (he really did like that). Coronado Ferry back to the hotel, saw Silver Strand State Beach and then went for a swim in the pool...
