Woke up at 5.45 this morning so we could be at the ferry terminal by 7.30 to check in! Got off in Avalon and headed straight for Island Rentals to pick up our golf buggy. Dan had lots of fun driving around, as I tried to follow the map and not get lost! Got to the very top looking down on the pier, and he made me get out (we only had 5 minutes left to return it within the hour, so I was worrying about having to pay for more time!) and that's where we got engage...

Spent the day in Disney, got very tired legs now! Hit all the big rides, including Small World, and didn't spend too much time queuing! Going to bed now. Up early tomorrow to get the ferry over to Catalina Island, then on to our apartment in LA (we'll have internet there so can upload our photos!). Lauren x

Had a power cut last night so wasn't able to post the blogs from the past two days. We also missed the premiere of Guys with Kids as the tv went black just as it was about to start so we won't have a clue about what we're watching when we go to see it taped live!! Great day on the road. Picked up the Mustang and drove around with the top down for a bit. Dan bought his San Diego Chargers top and we got snorkels ready for Catalona. Stopped at the National Park in Point Loma and saw the Cabrillo Monument and lighthouse ,as well as the fields of the military cemetery. Then on to Huntington Beach. Our last day in San Diego and we spent most of it at the beach in Coronado. Bought a boogie board which Dan snapped it in two places after his first go - possibly because we bought the $16 one with a sunset scene instead of the professional-looking one for $40. But even with a broken board I was still great...must be all those summers in Worthing!
