Well this morning started out great. We got up, had breakfast and watched Kelly and Michael (the new Regis and Kelly) while we waited for the morning rush hour traffic to die down.

First stop: the Warner Brothers Studios. Got to see Stars Hollow (where Gilmore Girls used to film), walked through the set of Hart of Dixie (even went into the doctor's office and her house), saw the set where two broke girls is filmed, looked at all the cars used in the movies (including the Batmobile - I think this was Dan's favourite part!) and saw the costume museum.

Had our first macdonald's of the trip - Dan won a free breakfast sandwich with MacDonald's Monopoly. Then on to It's a Wrap, where the take all the old clothes worn on shows to sell off.

But then we a bit of a problem - got a flat tire!!! Found a Pizza Hut who looked up the number for the rental company for me. No pay phones though, so found three girls in a little gift store who said she'd send someone out.
Meanwhile Dan changed the tire. We then went into a B&Q type store so Dan could wash his hands (and cool down - it was 100+ degrees out!). Then went into a copy store who let me use the phone to find out when the tire person was coming.

They turned up half an hour later and said they couldn't help as all they do is change tires! Luckily, Bob Hope Airport was only two miles away. Unluckily they had every brand of car rental company you could think of apart from ours!!

Fifteen miles on to LAX (at this point it was 5pm and we had the Dodgers game at 7.10) and we successfully changed the car!

Got to Dodgers Stadium with enough time to pick up hotdogs and popcorn and for Dan to buy a t-shirt in the gift shop!!
