On Sunday, Christine and I decided to have a nice day out together in Ely in Cambridgeshire as Ken and Gary were going up the pub to have a few pints with Ken's brothers Paul and David.

When we got there, we went into the Cathedral which is quite spectacular and had a wander through. We then made our way to the River and went in various Antique shops and had lunch in a little cottage cafe. We strolled along the river bank and there were so many ducks, geese and swans all with babies. In the middle of the green a brass band was playing which created a lovely English atmosphere.

We decided to go on a River boat cruise which turned out to be the highlight of our day with very pretty scenery.
