We arrived in Tel Aviv and were drivento our hotelin Jerusalem.The next day we were picked up outside for our tour of the old city.We were taken firstly to Mt.Scorpuswhere there was a spectacular view of the whole city of Jerusalem.As I needed to go to the loo, we had to stop before our next tour site but fortunately for everyone else on the bus, they got to see the garden of Gesemenee which was close by.We entered the old city at the Jaffa Gate and proceeded to the Churchof the Holy Sepulchre which Jesus is supposedly buried under.Thereisa tomb inside and also the stone he was bathed on after he was taken down from the cross.Everyone was touching the stone and I did also.

After leaving the Church, we walked the 14 stations of the cross (places Jesus stopped) along the Via Dolorosa.We walked through the souks and into the Jewish quarter and then on to the Wailing Wall where it is sectioned off for men mostly and women have their own little area.Next was a visit to Yash Vadem, the museum to the Holocaust victims - very sad.After we went back to our hotel and later went out to dinner at Kosher McDonalds.
