Sheryl & Brian Sounds like a great trip, the weather’s not good though, I can’t believe the bus got up Mt Wellington without getting blown off, when we were there (honeymoon November 1978) it was snowing & bloody freezing We have been busy but we will ring when we get a chance Keep enjoying your time in Tassie
Chris Love your blogs they are so informative and great pics. It’s so windy here still in Beachport we are nearly packed and will move on 1st thing in the morning. Enjoy the rest of your time in Tassie, hope the weather improves for you.

Sheryl Looks like you are having a fantastic trip over in Tassie, we had our honeymoon over the 42years ago, enjoy your trip, wish we were there with you
Joan Sounds like you are having a great time. If I had known you were Tassie, Queenstown in particular, I would have told you to go to the museum there. Your great grandfather William Horne is buried in the Queenstown cemetery. He died in the Mt Lyell Mine Disaster of 1912. In the museum are some of the possessions of the victims and we saw a pay packet (I think) of William Horne’s. It was very emotional for John.
Cuppa Back safe & sound. Lets hope you are able to get away again when you want to.Thanks for the blog, looking forward to the next one. You've made us think about a return trip to Tassie again.
re: East to Homeward BoundCuppa something odd going on with your map?? Single straight line from Stanley to St Helens only, (nothing else) & unless Dabus has been converted to a yacht or a submarine I'm disinclined to believe it.

re: North West TasmaniaCuppa Like Julie said it all brings back memories. Pleased you have been able to get away again after the lockdowns & all your hard work. Sounds like you are covering a fair bit of ground in a short time? How long are you over there for? Check out our Tassie blog if you want more inspiration...... though it seems you are getting to some top places anyway! http://cuppa500.com/Blog/2017/12/16/the-tarkine/
